MONDAY 7TH DECEMBER
venue: LEWIS LECTUrE THEATRE, malvern college
The IET Hereford and Worcester Network’s Christmas Event this year is all about the story of the telephone. Who DID invent it? How did it develop? Did they think it would catch on? And how does it work? Come and hear the story of the humble device that started life as the unloved apparatus in the cold draughty hallway and ended as the smart device that practically everyone has got in their pocket!
This is a free to attend event that takes place in the Lewis Lecture Theatre of Malvern College on Monday 7th December at 7.30pm. Afterwards, join us for festive food and drinks and a chat about what you’ve heard. This event is open to students, families and anyone who wants to be entertained by the story of the single most important device ever to enter our lives!
